Codec Strengthen Senior Team with Appointments of COO, CFO and Head of HR

Codec is pleased to announce the appointment of Edward Taggart to the position of Chief Operations Officer, Fiona Daly to the role of Chief Financial Officer and Brenda O’Neill to Head of Human Resources.

Mr. Taggart has been appointed Chief Operations Officer at Codec. Mr. Taggart joins Codec from EY where he was Director in their Financial Services Advisory Practice. Prior to this he spent 17 years with Accenture where he was a senior manager in the Financial Services and Technology practices.

As Chief Operations Officer at Codec, Mr. Taggart will assume responsibility for the operational, strategic and people leadership of the company. This key role will define the organisation of the future ensuring growth strategies, cultural transformation, performance outcomes and operations are managed in line with business goals.

Ms Daly joined Codec in 2002 as in-house legal counsel and most recently held the position of Head of Finance and Legal. Ms Daly has been instrumental in Codec’s financial strategy and has played a key part in the company’s recent growth.

As Chief Financial Officer, Ms Daly will assume responsibility for the financial performance and planning of the company. As part of the Senior Leadership team, she will continue to contribute to the strategic direction and vision of Codec with a focus on organic growth and growth through acquisitions.

Ms O’Neill has been appointed Head of Human Resources at Codec. Ms O’Neill joins Codec from EY where she held the role of Head of HR (Ireland) for the FSO (Financial Services Organisation). Prior to this she held the role of Senior Human Resources Manager at Price Waterhouse Cooper.

As Head of Human Resources at Codec, Ms O’Neill will assume responsibility for Talent Management, Strategic Planning, Recruitment and Employee Engagement.
