Codec win at the Belfast Telegraph IT awards 2023

Codec UK pick up two awards and one commendation at the recent Belfast Telegraph IT Awards.

Codec UK had the pleasure of attending the prestigious Belfast IT Awards held at the Mac Belfast last week. It was an incredible evening, and we were overjoyed to receive a number of awards on the night:

  • Winner: IT Services Company of the Year: Codec UK
  • Winner: DevOps Engineer of the Year -  Steven McLaughlin, Technical Consultant
  • Highly commended: IT Woman of the Year - Claire Sharpe, Senior Project Manager
These awards recognise the best of IT and individuals working in Northern Ireland and they have been running successfully for the past number of years.

We are extremely proud to have won 'IT Services Company of the Year'  -  it demonstrates the phenomenal strides Codec has taken this year, in successfully completing transformative projects for esteemed institutions like NI Water, Queen’s University Belfast, and the University of Ulster, harnessing the latest in Microsoft SaaS and AI.

From a modest start with just two staff members in Belfast in 2016, Codec's impressive growth trajectory has been significant and we now have over 50 staff in Northern Ireland with an 18% revenue growth in this past year

Huge congratulations in particular to Claire Sharpe and Steven McLaughlin for their personal achievements in their respective categories - we are very proud of you.

We extend our congratulations to all the winners on the night but in particular, to DAERA - Department of Agriculture Environmental Rural Affairs, who picked up the “IT Digital Project of the Year” as sponsored by Codec.

A great night was had by all and a selection of photos from the night are shown below!
