Expansion signifies new office move for Codec

Codec Belfast move to new offices at the Boat Building to facilitate continued expansion in Northern Ireland

We are delighted to share that Codec NI has announced it's pushing ahead with ambitious expansion plans after the opening of a new office in Belfast City Centre.

From a modest start with just two employees in 2016, we have grown year on year and we now employ more than 50 staff in the NI market.  We marked this continued success with the relocation of our offices from Victoria street to a new office in the Boat building.

This office move in Northern Ireland comes at an exciting time for our business with the launch of our UK division this month, as well as securing Microsoft Country Partner of the Year (Ireland) and IT Services Company of the Year at this year’s Belfast Telegraph IT Awards

Stephanie Conville, NI Commercial Lead commented: “Five years ago, our team consisted of just three of us – now it’s a 50-strong team with ambitions to further grow over the next 12 months.  The new office is a fantastic location for us and reaffirms our commitment to our customers and the local community, underlining our steadfast presence and dedication to delivering technology excellence within a dynamic market.”

The calibre of talent emerging from Northern Ireland’s esteemed universities including Queen’s and Ulster is fantastic and it’s playing an instrumental role in helping us to attract the brightest minds.  Having access to such a dynamic talent pool brings fresh perspectives and innovative thinking, enriching our team with diverse expertise and skillsets.

Stephanie continued: “AI will continue to dominate much of the conversation moving forward and so, much of our focus will be on helping our customers better understand how they can implement these types of advanced technologies and deliver value to their business.”
